Rich and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary with dinner out on Mission Beach in San Diego. Rich's Aunt Pam and cousin Bailey watched Ethan for the night so that we could head out for a night together. Our 6 years of marriage in numbers:
1.5 the number of sons we have
2 weddings of Rich's high school friends marrying my college friends
7 the total number of parents we have
2 trips out of state (not including CA)-Jared and Carrie's wedding in Chicago, and Ryan and Kristen in Texas
0 trips out of the country (we went on a cruise to Mexico before we were married)
2 the number of homes we have lived in
3 vehicles (Toyota Tacoma, Toyota Corolla, Acura Integra)
3 nieces / nephews
16 combined years of teaching experience and shared stories
5 college degrees (okay, I included my A.A.!)
2 universities attended
4 jobs held outside of teaching
10 total years we have been together
My favorite memories from our 6 years of marriage:
Year 1 (2005-06): Hosting Christmas for the first time for our families in our new home!
Year 2 (2006-07): Swim parties and game nights with the Jarecki's in Queen Creek
Year 3 (2007-08): Going to Texas with friends for Ryan and Kristen's wedding
Year 4 (2008-09): Dancing together at Jaime and Mike's wedding
Year 5 (2009-10): The birth of our first son, Ethan John Morris~July 1, 2009
Year 6 (2010-11): Celebrating 5 years at the Royal Palms Resort in Scottsdale / Rich's Master's graduation from NAU and celebrating in Flagstaff!
