Little Buddies

Finley came over for a bit while Nicole ran some errands.  These two are so funny together- like little siblings!

Desert Fun

After Ethan's 6 year old check-up (6 years old?!?) the boys asked if we could stop at Pecos Park.  It was a pretty grey morning, and was actually cool enough to be outside and play!  We played on the snakes and the play structure and Matthew decided to do some spontaneous splash pad play.  Splash pads are still not really Ethan's thing, so he didn't get as wet as Matthew.  Love summer mornings spent with these little boys.

Face Painting Fun!

We got a letter on our doorstep saying that the restaurant in our neighborhood was having a free BBQ.  So after some fun at the pool we all headed over.  We had suspicious looking hotdogs, and some really greasy fries- but hey, at least there was face painting!!

This Face!

This semester I am teaching Tuesday's, Thursday's and Fridays.  This means that Monday's are my day to drop Matthew off at preschool and enjoy some time in the classroom (before I head home to get some work done).  This week we decided to run to the park before school.  It was pretty hot already, but so nice to have this time together.  We even shot some rockets!

Time With My Big Guy

The Corolla was getting some work done, so Rich had the van.  I needed to pick Ethan up from school so I rode my bike over with his scooter in my backpack.  It was blazing hot but this guy was such a trooper...it took us 45 minutes to get home since we had to stop so many times.  Our reward was getting home and jumping into the pool- just me and my big boy!

Swim Time

Getting ready for a dip in our new pool and M comes around the corner and sees me in my two piece swimsuit and says...
"Oh, you have on your swim undies and Bobs!"

Making the Most of It!

When Mr. Ethan has had a high fever for 5 days (which is actually now tonsillitis) and he can't do much (like play in his baseball game :-( we needed to figure out a way to make the most of it.  The weather is absolutely gorgeous-so...time for a blanket under the tree in the grass in the front yard!  We played memory and enjoyed the breeze, then Papa Morris and Aunt Madison and Aunt Jordan stopped by with Popsicles for the boys.  This pic was taken just a few moments before M started flipping the cards everywhere and E got yet another fever....still a precious moment I didn't want to forget!
