Babies in the pool!

It is hard to believe that Ethan's gal is 1! On Saturday we all helped Jared and Carrie's little Addie celebrate her first birthday. There were babies everywhere..splashing in the kiddie pool, playing with the water table, jumping in the jumpy house and playing with all of Addie's toys. This was Ethan's first time swimming (or "sitting") in the baby pool. He loved it, but he is also really happy just relaxing and munching snacks in the shade. After fun in the sun, it was time for cake, then we all headed inside for presents and playing. After a great day Ethan fell fast asleep on the car ride home...it's hard to believe that we will be celebrating Ethan's first birthday this summer!

Poor Baby!

So I know there are many milestones that await you as parents, and now we have another to add to the list...Ethan's first shiner! Ethan was sitting in the baby seat of the shopping cart in his floppy, and his cousins Jayton and Brekin were behind him in the cart. Ethan couldn't resist turning around to see what his older cousins were doing, and as he did he pulled the floppy off the back of his seat. That's when he slipped and hit his eye on the metal behind him! His Aunt Brandy swooped him up and tough Ethan didn't even cry! I am not sure I can say the same for his Auntie who felt terrible!!

As you can see from the pictures, Ethan is fine, acting as silly as always!
