At the beginning of May, Ethan's Bubby and Auntie Arielle came for a visit (and to help me celebrate my big 30th birthday). After years of trying, we finally made it to Pizzeria Bianco in downtown Phoenix. We had tried to go so many times, they were always either closed or booked every time we went. The restaurant is rated the top pizza restaurant in the U.S., some even say the world. It sure was YUMMY...it better be, we got there at 3:00 and they don't even open until 5:00.Other high points of our visit was our hike at Usery Mountain. Ethan didn't last long in his hiking carrier, and his Daddy and I had to switch off carrying him the whole way! Go mommy arms...hiking a flat trail is a lot more rigorous carrying a 23 pound baby!
Bubby couldn't believe how much Ethan had changed since she was here just a couple of months ago! Sometimes I feel like he is different after I have been away from him at work all day.
We are counting down to the end of June until my family comes for Ethan's first birthday.
