Just Playing Around

Ethan loves hanging around with mommy and daddy on the weekend playing with his toys! We take so many pictures of him he now smiles for the camera! Here are a few favorites from the last few weeks...

07/13 Matthew...should me and Mommy just clean up? (As Matthew plays in the playroom not helping clean) Should that happen? Matthew...are you ignoring me?!?!

Ethan: Yeah...actually no I don't. I want to live...by Bubby because I love her so much, that is why I want to live by her.

Mommy: Ethan please keep the door shut.

Ethan: Yeah, no one wants to see your penis and your butt!

Mommy: (...dying from embarrassment as we are not alone in the bathroom!)

Ethan looks out the front window anticipating Bubby's arrival...even though we are going to the airport to get her...

Ethan: I'm keeping my eyes out for Bubby!

Ethan: ...John Morris!

Mommy: What is mommy's name?

Ethan: Katie Morris!

Mommy: What is daddy's name?

Ethan: Richard Morris!

Mommy: What is baby's name?

Ethan: Baby Matthew Dean Morris! (Actually-Baby Matchew Dean Mowis!)

Ethan: I am going to go on an airplane with my Mommy and Baby Matthew to CHINA!!

At the daycare center where Ethan and Matthew spent a week when Jayton and Brekin were sick, and Matthew couldn't go to Auntie Brandy's for daycare...

Ethan and Momma walk into the baby room to pick up Matthew, Ethan looks around...

Mommy is holding Baby Matthew, and says to Ethan, "It's time to brush your teeth."

Ethan: I want Daddy to do it.

Daddy: No, Mommy is going to do it.

Ethan: (Looks at Mommy...) You don't have enough hands!

Ethan: That hand means stop, the people means go!

Mommy: Who taught you that?

Ethan: You did!

Ethan and Mommy are searching the neighborhood for pinecones when Ethan spots one several feet away and goes running up to get it but when he gets there he discovers...

Ethan: It's poop!...I don't like poop! I don't eat poop! (He makes a funny face and realizes that he said something funny)

Ethan: I silly!

Did you know...

06/11-Ethan's favorite songs are "Baby Beluga," and "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

Ethan's new favorite books are The Napping House and Go Dog Go! He loves to tell you words from the story!

Ethan LOVES trucks. He yells "TRUCK!" everytime he sees or hears one.

Ethan's new favorite song is The Itsy Bitsy Spider. He does the movements along with you. We are working on Head, Shoulder's, Knees, and Toes!

Ethan LOVES music. Ever since he was born, Daddy has played music and danced with Ethan. Now he tells US when he wants music by pointing and dancing!

Ethan gained almost a full pound a week until he was 9 weeks old?

Ethan has 7 grandparents?!
